About

This is the second edition of the book; the cover has been changed, the book has been turned from script to narrative form while ensuring that the grammar, punctuation, and coherence are fully fixed, an area map has been added, the first edition has been moved to the back, and pronunciations were assigned to characters as they were introduced.

The story starts with the prologue to the journey of a brother and sister, who must make their way as Oni Slayers. Hikaru and Hibana are twins who must deal with the loss of a loved one at the hands of monsters known only as Onimon. Each one has their own goals as Oni Slayers. One seeks revenge, and the other seeks peace. Will these siblings reach their goals, or will they perish before either of them can achieve them?

Praise for this book

This is a fast paced story that has action and fighting. Filled with Japanese, anime and manga influence. The story reads like a play. Switching between the narrator, the different characters, and using parentheses to explain powers, feelings, detail and context. This writing style took a while to get used to, but after a while I appreciated reading the additional information. I enjoyed reading about the various trials and fights that the group of friends have to participate in to become ninja’s. The power and ability descriptions were detailed and comprehensive. The monsters, Onimon, were fascinating, thrilling and deadly. These monsters killed easily and were kind of scary when I thought about it. As I was reading I got early seasons of Naruto vibes, these vibes helped with my enjoyment level as I adore Naruto and watching anime. People that enjoy Naruto and characters with fighting powers and abilities may enjoy this story.
I could not put this book down! Lord Kasai had me drawn in right away! Highly recommend!
I had a hard time putting the book down, especially with it being such a short book! It was fun and im looking forward to the next one!
So much action throughout! I would like to see this drawn in a manga or animated show, the fight scenes would look really cool. Looking forward to reading the next one
