I really enjoyed this book and the journey I took with Emily, the main character. I liked the concept of the story being written as if if’s this girl’s journal. Though that was very interesting. It was very enjoyable seeing how Emily growth throughout the story.

I enjoyed "The Diary of Emily" for its heartfelt portrayal of survival and friendship in a zombie-infested world. I liked how the protagonist, Emily, showed incredible resilience and growth, providing inspiration amidst chaos. I was particularly moved by the deep connections formed between Emily and other characters, especially her friend Alex, which added a significant layer of warmth to the narrative. The inclusion of diary entries made the story feel intimate and real, allowing me to connect deeply with Emily's journey. Lastly, the unexpected twist at the end provided a thought-provoking finale that left a lasting impact. I do feel like the writing was lacking a bit but I did enjoy the story. 4/5

This is a fun book for any teen who enjoys thrillers with a fast paced storyline. The author did a nice job drawing out the main character Emily's strengths and weaknesses. The prose is clear and concise and this book would make a great gift for the teen in your life who enjoys armchair adventures.

This is a zombie survival book told through a young ladies' journal. The concept works really well. The story moves at a pretty good pace and is an easy read. Enjoyed the ride it took me on. The book is listed at number 1 so I’m just assuming this is a series. It will be interesting to see where the author takes the story of here.
